Taco Tuesday E-Bike Demos

What’s better than tacos and bikes?
Taco Tuesdays on e-bikes!

The EZ Bike Project invites you to test ride some awesome e-bikes and top it off with tacos for lunch or dinner. The rides will take place on Tuesdays in May from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, with two evening options 5:30-7:30 PM, starting in downtown Santa Barbara at The Bike Spot. Registration is required ahead of time, and the demos are only open to residents of Santa Barbara County and employees in the County.

Participants must register ahead of time.

Register at EZBike.org for the “Taco Tuesday” and choose the time and Tuesday in May that you’d like to join. You will be emailed a confirmation required for participation.

Many brands and styles make the EZ Bike Project the perfect resource for anyone who’s trying to compare e-bikes in a no-pressure setting and see what type would best fit their lifestyle. On Taco Tuesday, you can try multiple bikes over the course of the ride, with Traffic Solutions staff to inform and guide you. 12 different bikes will be available for the event and the group will ride a ~10 mile route that highlights the benefits of electric bikes and includes a taco lunch or dinner stop. Participants will cover the cost of their own food. There are capacity limits and COVID-19 protocols. Due to capacity limitations, participants may only be permitted to join one Tuesday in the month.

Hi I’m very interested in this event but I’m a C4 quadriplegic. Are there any bikes available for some morning with limited arm function and no hand function?

Hello Chelsee. I am reviewing your comment from 2021 and wanted to let you know that while we do not have adapted electric bicycles in our EZBike Fleet, for 2022 we have asked for piloted bicycle trishaws to make our CycleMAYnia rides accessible to people who cannot ride a standard bicycle. If you would like more information on this, please call us at 805-963-SAVE.
