South Coast Mayors’ Ride
CYCLEMAYNIA MAYORS’ RIDE RETURNS!
Join the CycleMAYnia Mayors’ Ride, a celebrated highlight of National Bike Month. This year, organizers are excited to announce a change in scenery in rotating the event’s location to various South Coast cities and unincorporated areas. After two successful years in Santa Barbara, the City of Carpinteria takes the baton, ready to host this year’s event. Mark your calendars for May 17 at 9:30 a.m. in Carpinteria, coinciding perfectly with National Bike to Work Day. Mayors Al Clark, Randy Rowse, and Paula Perotte are all set to participate in the ride. Stay tuned as the City of Carpinteria, in cooperation with the County of Santa Barbara, finalize the ride logistics. More details coming soon!
Accessibility: We have seats available for those who can’t ride a bike but would like to join the ride as a trishaw passenger (courtesy of Cycling Without Age). Call (805) 845-8955 ext. 3 to reserve a spot by May 10th.
