Community E-Bike Skills Class & Ride
Participants must be 10 years of age or older and will learn pre-ride checks to help avoid non-vehicular crashes; participate in e-bike handling courses on the De La Guerra Plaza closed roadway to learn tips for safe e-bike handling; join in a community e-bike ride to get comfortable interacting with traffic; and pick up some free giveaways to make you safer when you ride. Schedule: 9:00 a.m. – Check-In/Register 9:30 a.m. – Self & Bike Safety Checks 9:45 a.m. – Skills Courses 10:45 a.m. – Free Giveaways & Ride Prep 11:45 a.m. – E-Bike Group Ride – Giveaways
Accessibility: We have seats available for those who can’t ride a bike but would like to join the ride as a trishaw passenger (courtesy of Cycling Without Age). Call (805) 845-8955 ext. 3 to reserve a spot by April 26th.
